Northward Systems Type 2545 Speaker Stand
Designed for free standing mid-field loudspeaker setups, the Speaker Stand Type 2545 uses a custom high pressure pre-constrained decoupling system based on SylomerⓇ and neoprene constrained layer damping (CLD) interfaces between all steel plates.
Thanks to years spent on R&D, engineering, prototyping and testing, their design prevents any rocking modes while still achieving a very low natural frequency.
A small amount of pre-loading is integrated to the decoupling system: within the decouplers themselves thanks to a pre-constraint push-pull system and by using heavy steel plates as a dummy load.
With a decoupling system achieving a natural frequency as low as 8Hz at 45kg load, these stands are simply unique on the market.
Height is infinitely adjustable between 800mm and 1150mm thanks to a piston actuated system allowing smooth adjustments.
The stands come equipped with a set of levelling spikes, easily accessed from the top of the base plates with an Allen key.
